I wasn't sure about this one, but thought I'd give it a go. Hadn't seen the film but had a rough idea what it was about. I was wrong!

It focus's around the whole family and is seen from each family member's point of view, with each chapter being told by a different one.

There is an unexpected twist at the end which I didnt see coming atall.

Really liked this, dont know if I'd want to see the film though, not into emotional films that may make me cry!

The White Queen

Really enjoyed this book, it felt more like a story than loads of historical facts! Full of interesting characters and involved plots. Highly recommended.

The Savage Garden

Set in Tuscany in the 1950's, this story is about a young student who goes to Italy to research a Renaissance garden that has a hidden secret. A murder has been committed, 400 years ago, and this garden has been made giving clues through it's pagan statues and inspirations from classic novels and art.

It's an interesting read, with good charachters and twisting plots. It ended rather abruptly for me, everything was summed up quickly at the end.

Would still recommend as thoroughly enjoyable.
